Mitta Group appoints Sami Ylitervo as Group Business Development Director
Mitta Group has appointed Sami Ylitervo as Group Business Development Director, effective 1 November 2026.
The appointment supports Mitta’s strategy to serve major customers and projects through the full range of the Group’s expertise. Ylitervo will build a structured Group-wide approach to strategic customer development, deepen key customer relationships and identify new commercial opportunities. He will also bring together expertise from different Business Units and countries to create clear customer solutions.

His task is to turn that understanding into stronger customer relationships and new business across Finland and Sweden,” says Henrik Malmberg, Group CEO.
Before joining Mitta, Ylitervo built and led a surveying and digital modelling business that became part of Mitta in 2023. Since then, he has worked as Service Manager for Surveying in Lapland.
“My focus will be practical: bringing the right expertise around each customer and turning shared opportunities into action. Success should be visible as easier cooperation for our customers and as stronger customer relationships and profitable growth for Mitta” says Sami Ylitervo.
