In order to promote the development of a responsible and sustainable future in our industry, Mitta has chosen corporate responsibility as one of the top priorities of the group’s upcoming strategy period. We want to be carbon neutral in our own operations by 2035. Our mission is to help our customers reduce their own environmental footprint.
Sustainability at Mitta Group
The Finnish, Swedish and Norwegian Mitta companies of Mitta Group have been working actively since 2022 to map out and implement the Mitta sustainability program. There is still a lot of work ahead, and as the societal, environmental, technological expectations and requirements are constantly changing it is crucial for us to keep up with the change as well by adapting and developing new solutions to support climate and social goals.
However, we at Mitta have a strong will and confidence that together we can make tomorrow a safer and better place to live.
Our most important task is to empower our customers to make sustainable decisions with the help of our accurate and reliable services that reduce negative environmental impacts as much as possible.
Our first sustainability report includes general information about our sustainability activities for now and sheds a light on how sustainability reporting and activities will be developed in upcoming years.
