Consulting services for CE marking of aggregates

CE marking of aggregates requires product property testing, factory production control and appropriate documentation. Mitta provides the entire process as one comprehensive service: we carry out the required laboratory testing and assist with CE marking documentation and quality management.

CE marking is mandatory for many construction products, including certain aggregates. Through CE marking, the manufacturer declares the product’s properties and assumes responsibility for ensuring that its quality corresponds to the information provided in the Declaration of Performance. The marking is based on testing in accordance with applicable product standards, continuous factory production control and the required documentation.

Mitta’s comprehensive service covers both the aggregate testing required for CE marking and the other expert services involved in the process. Our laboratories assess material properties in accordance with applicable standards. The results provide a reliable basis for declaring the material’s properties and evaluating its suitability for different applications.

In addition to testing, we prepare the necessary documentation, assist with the design and development of the Factory Production Control (FPC) system, and provide guidance throughout the CE marking process. Our service is suitable both for implementing a new system and updating existing practices.

For more demanding products subject to AVCP system 2+, systematic quality assurance, standards-compliant testing and comprehensive documentation are particularly important. By combining the expertise of our specialists and laboratories, we help ensure that CE marking obligations are handled efficiently and that aggregates placed on the market are properly tested, documented and covered by factory production control.
