Forming the rating curve for online flow monitoring
With the rating curve, water level data can be converted to flow rate. We first select the right place for the monitoring station, so making of a rating curve is possible. Then we define the flow rates with different water levels by measuring with either a traditional current meter or with an ADCP device. Based on this information we create the rating curve.
