We determine the load-bearing capacity of the bridge
Is the load-bearing capacity of the bridge known or does a weight limit sign have to be placed for safety reasons? We determine the actual load-bearing capacity of the bridge by test load measurement in cooperation with the bridge designers. In a bridge loading test the elongations, deflections, sag and displacements of the main girders and other members are measured using a known test load.
- We utilize a wide-range of test load vehicles
- The load-bearing test can also be carried out on railway bridges
Reliable picture of the load-bearing capacity
When the measurement results are combined with the mathematical model of the bridge, a reliable picture of the load-bearing capacity of the structure is obtained.
Static and dynamic load phases
The measurement, which is done in one working day, includes static and dynamic load phases according to a bridge-specific plan. We utilize many types of test load vehicles from trucks to mobile cranes.
