Mitta's laboratory in Gothenburg is now also accredited

Mitta AB’s laboratory in Gothenburg has been accredited as of April 2025.

We are pleased to inform our customers and partners that Mitta’s laboratory in Gothenburg has been granted an accreditation certificate in accordance with the international standard ISO/IEC 17025:2017. The accreditation confirms that the accredited laboratory has been assessed to have the necessary competence, and the ability to carry out accredited services impartially and consistently.

The accreditation is valid until further notice. The Swedish Board for Accreditation and Conformity Assessment (Swedac) regularly conducts audits, and every four years a renewed assessment, to ensure that the applicable accreditation requirements are continuously met.

With this latest accreditation, Mitta now has three accredited laboratories in Sweden (Gothenburg, Stockholm, and Luleå), as well as one accredited field laboratory serving customers throughout Sweden. This accreditation is further proof of Mitta’s quality and expertise.

“We are very happy and proud of this accreditation, and I want to thank our skilled staff who have contributed to earning yet another feather in the cap for our laboratories. I believe this accreditation is a very important mark of quality, which more and more of our customers value—and even require—to ensure the standards of their commitments,” says Henrik Malmberg, CEO of Mitta Sweden.

“Our services have long met the certificate requirements, but having this officially confirmed allows us to proudly demonstrate to our customers that Mitta’s quality stands up even under objective review.”
