Mitta strengthens its digital monitoring services through a new acquisition
Mitta Group Oy has acquired the entire share capital of software development company Soficta Oy 30.12.2022. With the acquisition, Mitta will strengthen its position as a producer of data-driven monitoring services for the different needs of the industry- and infrastructure sector.
Soficta, which specialises in software solutions, produces solutions that utilize industrial internet. One of Soficta’s most significant product services is Aistio, which helps energy- and water supply companies solve problems and challenges in their network infrastructure with the help of wireless sensors and artificial intelligence.

With Soficta’s technology expertise, Mitta strengthens the integration of field research and measurement with digital monitoring and other smart services. The acquisition follows Mitta’s strategy to develop the business and create added value for existing and new customers through data processing service packages.

As a result of the acquisition, Mitta’s network of offices expands to Salo when the 10 employees of Soficta affiliates to Mitta. With the acquisition, the owners of Soficta will become shareholders in Mitta.
