Our consulting services at Mitta

The challenge of nuclear waste management encompasses several expert disciplines, stakeholders, and requirements. Due to our broad and  multifaceted experience, Mitta Engineering offers top quality consulting services at various phases of nuclear waste management programmes related to

Mitta Engineering is part of Mitta group since March 2022. The team of Mitta Engineering experts consists of about 20 engineers, geologists, physicists, laboratory analysts and chemists.

Mitta Engineering has previously been operating under the names Saanio & Riekkola, B+Tech and AINS. We work in close collaboration with AINS in geo-engineering, and  in close cooperation with the experts at Clay Technology, also part of Mitta Group.

Since 2000, we have worked with over 25 nuclear waste facilities in nearly 20 countries. While most of them have been low- and intermediate level waste (LILW) facilities, majority of the work, and indeed our most specialist expertise, are on high level waste (HLW) facilities, especially from Finland.

Mitta Engineering has ISO 9001 quality management system, ISO 14001 environmental management system, and a laboratory, which offers analysis and testing services for construction industry and renovation engineering that been accredited according to ISO 17025 (T354).

Our premises are located in Helsinki, Vantaa and Tampere in Finland.
